Pretzel Day

March 30 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Pretzel Sunday, known as ‘Bretzelsonndeg,’ is celebrated on the fourth Sunday during Lent in Luxembourg. Since it depends on Lent, the actual date varies each year, falling anywhere between March 1 and April 4. This special day marks the midpoint of the Lenten season. Did you know? Some believe that the pretzel’s twist symbolizes two lovers arm-in-arm, while others think it represents praying hands. Additionally, some claim that the three holes in a twisted pretzel stand for the three entities of the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

On Sunday, March 30th, join us for Pretzel Sunday! Kids will make their homemade pretzel and enjoy eating it afterward. The event will be held in Tennessee from 9 AM to 11 AM and is free for all campers.

Come and savor a “Taste of America”!
