Lyrids Meteor Shower: dust from the Comet Thatcher
Meteor shower from April 14-30. It peaks on April 22-23. There will be around 5-20 meteors per hour. Best viewing time is 2100 – 0500.
Our campsite has very little light pollution and with no moon light, the sky will be super dark and you will have a good chance of seeing some falling stars, if the skies are clear. Relax in a chair and enjoy the evening skies. We will assist you to find where to look in the sky.
