Three teams will square off in this skills-based wilderness challenge! Overcome obstacles, learn navigation, survival skills, fire and shelter, first aid scenarios and team work. Push your limits as you participate with your team in this friendly competition! We provide a unique opportunity for youth to learn English while safely experiencing supervised overnight camping in Japan’s great outdoors. With this experience, we hope the youth will develop a better knowledge and respect for nature.
Youth ages 8-14 will be divided into 3 equal teams and learn how to work together to accomplish the challenges. Each youth will learn how to cook delicious outdoor meals, how to make a campfire and other essential survival skills, and make long lasting friends. The first night our staff will put on a campfire with skits and songs and the youth will then have their chance to do one with their parents watching. The camp is based on the popular American TV series “Survivors”.
The camp will have American staff speaking English, so your non-English speaking child will get a chance to learn some English, and English speaking youth will have a chance to learn some Japanese from their new friends they will make.
On Saturday, Aug 8th, parents will be invited to watch the final challenge, participate in campfire program and have lunch with their children.

Making breakfast can be fun. One of the breakfast is making omelettes in a ziplock baggies. The kids love to make this style breakfast.
朝食を作るのは楽しいことです。朝食の1つは、ジップロックバッグでオムレツを作ることです。子供たちはこのスタイルの朝食を作るのが大好きです。

Making S’mores is always a favorite with youth. スモアーズ(焼きマシュマロのデザート)を作ることは子供たちにとって常にお気に入りです。

One of the fun things to do is make ice cream on a hot day. また、暑い日にはアイスクリームを作るのも楽しみの一つです。

Youth will go for a hike and collect various items and later make crafts with the items they collected. 子供たちはハイキングに行き、様々なアイテムを集め、後で集めたアイテムで工芸品を作ります。
